How does it feel to hear the phone screaming, waking you up rudely in the middle of the night or very early in the morning say at 1 am or 2 am or 3 am or 4 am or 5 am? Ask me all about it. Icing on the cake - the caller expects you to call back after exactly three rings and the most beautiful cherry topping is that most times, there is no message left and the caller's number does not show up, because its a calling card.
I guess its one of the worst things to happen in my little world unless of course the issue was highly urgent and important. Why? Because i love to sleep after a long day and as it is, i consider phone an intrusion when people forget the very purpose it was created for... not for nuisance but for timely communication.
With technology comes a responsibility, as with everything else. I hope and sincerely pray the frivolous have the ability to understand this. Guess this is one price to pay when those in different points on the globe forget all about time zones and expect you to be awake and happening on their whims and fancy.
This morning began with a headache and a lot of heartache over loss of sleep and i still tell myself over a late-noon excrutiating headache - grow up my little self!
All things end well ... my policy like Colin Powell's is "Get angry, then get over it!"
