The Other World

I read in an article that adults have fewer nightmares than very young children. I don't remember having any nightmares as a child, ...but as i stepped from teens into my twenties, after i left home...have been having more of them. Again, this morning, i woke up with some bad memories of fading dreams.

My dream world is more alive than my real life. I feel its so real when i m in there and when i awake... i have left it all behind. Thankfully! Strange, the world of dreams!!! But i have also been to the most beautiful places in my dreams... so beautiful that its indescribable. Sometimes, i hear songs i have never heard before and movies i've never watched... but alas... i forget the moment i wake up...

There have also been days, when i have slept and woken up 8 hours later having seen no dreams... and it feels like i just went to bed, as if time just flew and on those days, i am fresh and raring to go. Dreams do affect me... in a big way.

Just yesterday, i was being chased by a fat cow because in my dream i was wearing a red shirt... and i woke up all tired from the running... and the first thing i asked my husband is - " Are there cows around here? I am scared"...he smilingly thought for a while and said - "yes, at Mission Peak". I close my eyes again pausing to think how bravely we went for a trek in that nearly isolated spot.

Darling sure must be having a good laugh every morning, listening to me recount my colourful and wierd dreams.
